Philippe brings almost two decades of experience in the finance and renewable energy space, across Asia, Europe, and Africa. Before co-founding Candi Solar, he spent several years in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs across London and Hong Kong.
Driven by his passion for creating impact, Philippe transitioned to the renewable energy sector, where he worked with SUSI Partners and ResponsAbility in Zurich to manage many equity and debt funds investing globally.
With his relentless focus on innovation, quality, and scale, Philippe has been pivotal in taking the Candi Solar business from an idea to a well-established player in the C&I space, across India and South Africa. He now acts as commercial director for a global business based in Cape Town.
Philippe is a CFA Charterholder, an MSc in Sustainable Development from the London School of Economics (LSE), and a B.Bus.Sc in Economics Honors from the University of Cape Town.

Fabio is an entrepreneurial and seasoned finance professional with a proven track record in Investment Management and Executive Operational roles.
His investment experience covers venture, equity, and debt transactions encompassing projects and corporate finance across developed, emerging, and frontier markets.
As CFO at several companies, he has built robust financial operations and spearheaded fundraising activities.
Currently, Fabio is serving as the Co-Founder and Finance Director at Candi Solar, where he also leads People & Culture initiatives. He has been pivotal in fostering a highly diverse team of over 100 professionals across four countries while maintaining a strong corporate culture built around core company values. Over the past three years, he has secured over USD 100 million in capital from a wide array of institutional investors.
Fabio holds an academic background in accounting and finance, which he pursued at the University of St. Gallen and the Indian School of Business.

Rodrigo has a wealth of experience in the renewable energy space.
After starting his career at a nanotech startup and as a consultant at First Climate, Rodrigo has since focused on renewable energy as an investor.
He has worked in Latin America and throughout Europe.
Before Candi, he built the Latin America investment practice of EEA, headed the renewable energy investment division of SUSI Partners in Switzerland, and after a short stint at responsAbility, he was a Partner at Persistent Energy, a venture builder in the off-grid sector.

Bruno is a seasoned finance professional with over two decades of experience, specialising in structured finance, climate risk, and sustainability. His expertise spans investment structuring, risk management, and bespoke financing across developed and emerging markets.
Before Candi Solar, he held critical roles in mainstream finance at investment banks in Europe and Asia-Pacific. He also led sustainable infrastructure finance and climate-related financial risk, including as Executive Director at Carbon Delta/MSCI.
As part of Candi Solar's Executive Management team, Bruno oversees Product and Capital Structuring while actively shaping the company’s strategic direction. Since 2021, he has been pivotal in advancing Candi Solar’s growth by spearheading the structuring and execution of high-impact projects and complex funding transactions.
Bruno holds a Master of Management Engineering in Finance from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and an MSc in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from the London School of Economics. He is also a published author on credit derivatives, banking regulation, and climate finance.

Vova is a Senior Partner at E3 Capital with more than 18 years experience in investment banking and private equity in emerging markets.
He is passionate about driving disruptive innovation across the emerging world and effecting positive impact across industries and economies. Before joining E3, Vova spent 12 years working in M&A advisory and private equity transactions in Eastern Europe and Middle Asia.
He has been involved in numerous deals with major industrial and financial groups as well as management of investments in the power sector with a particular focus on power distribution and energy efficiency.

Antoine is an Investment Director at STOA, an impact fund specialising in emerging economies.
With an engineering background and more than 10 years in the infrastructure sector, he brings a wealth of experience in the renewables, telecommunications, and transport asset space.
Prior to joining STOA, Antoine was a structured finance specialist at VINCI group, the French construction-concession company giant, where he raised project and acquisition finance for major infrastructure projects. Before that, Antoine spent 2 years working for a DFI in sub-Saharan Africa.

Sofie is an Investment Manager in the Renewable Energy investments team at Norfund, the Norwegian investment fund for developing countries.
With nearly a decade of experience working in finance and renewable energy at Norfund and at UBS Investment Bank, she brings with her a strong understanding of global financial markets and responsible investing.
Having focused on deals in the distributed generation space over the past 5 years, she has in-depth knowledge about the commercial & industrial solar industry in markets across Africa and South/South East Asia.
